Architect Matthew Bialecki's Sustainable Designs Featured in Hudson Home & Garden Magazine

Bialecki Architects (BA), a nationally recognized architectural design firm specializing in green building design, is featured in an article called “The Green House” in the Autumn 2007 issue of Hudson Home & Garden magazine, a publication of Artform in Newburgh, NY.

The six-page article focuses on the Vidich-Stein, Allbright Smith, Bialecki-Urquidi and Knecht residences in Ulster and Columbia Counties.  It discusses the regional architecture of the Hudson Valley and the architect’s emphasis on sustainable building materials and systems, including proper site planning, high-efficiency heating equipment, and passive cooling techniques such as thermal mass and radiant barrier roof systems.
