Matthew Bialecki’s Cook Residence Featured in Russel Wright Design Center House Tour

The home of Susan and Thadeus Cook, designed by nationally recognized architect Matthew Bialecki, AIA, was one of "seven extraordinary Hudson Valley Homes" featured in a house tour organized by the Manitoga / Russell Wright Design Center (http://russelwrightcenter.org) in Garrison, NY. The tour took place on June 1st 2008.

The 7,800 square foot Cook Residence, built in 2001, takes its inspiration from the grand Hudson River homes of the 19th Century.

Manitoga’s mission is to preserve the legacy of the pioneer designer Russel Wright and to share them with professionals and the public. Other structures included in the tour were Dick’s Castle designed by Juergen Riehm, and an 1895 Queen Anne Victorian originally built by Central Railroad President Samuel Sloan as a wedding present for his daughter.
